Joseph W. Chastang was born on June 6, 1960 and passed away on March 4, 2023 at the age of 62. He is the beloved husband of Valerie “Little Noopsy Nick” Chastang, married on June 27, 1987, the dear brother of Tom (Donna) Chastang, and the brother-in-law of Doug Marcum. He leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Joe was an US Army Veteran who was stationed at Fort Knox, KY as a member of the MASH unit and was known by his family and friends as “Radar.” He graduated in 1978 from LaSalle High school and worked for the US Postal Service for over 35 years. Joe was happy vacationing in Florida, swimming, and spending time at church with his friends.

1 Naamán, general del ejército del rey de Siria, era varón grande delante de su señor, y lo tenía en alta estima, porque por medio de él había dado Jehová salvación a Siria. Era este hombre valeroso en extremo, pero leproso. 2 Y de Siria habían salido bandas armadas, y habían llevado cautiva de la tierra de Israel a una muchacha, la cual servía a la mujer de Naamán. 3 Esta dijo a su señora: Si rogase mi señor al profeta que está en Samaria, él lo sanaría de su lepra. 4 Entrando Naamán a su señor, le relató diciendo: Así y así ha dicho una muchacha que es de la tierra de Israel. 5 Y le dijo el rey de Siria: Anda, ve, y yo enviaré cartas al rey de Israel.
Salió, pues, él, llevando consigo diez talentos de plata, y seis mil piezas de oro, y diez mudas de vestidos. 6 Tomó también cartas para el rey de Israel, que decían así: Cuando lleguen a ti estas cartas, sabe por ellas que yo envío a ti mi siervo Naamán, para que lo sanes de su lepra. 7 Luego que el rey de Israel leyó las cartas, rasgó sus vestidos, y dijo: ¿Soy yo Dios, que mate y dé vida, para que este envíe a mí a que sane un hombre de su lepra? Considerad ahora, y ved cómo busca ocasión contra mí.
8 Cuando Eliseo el varón de Dios oyó que el rey de Israel había rasgado sus vestidos, envió a decir al rey: ¿Por qué has rasgado tus vestidos? Venga ahora a mí, y sabrá que hay profeta en Israel. 9 Y vino Naamán con sus caballos y con su carro, y se paró a las puertas de la casa de Eliseo. 10 Entonces Eliseo le envió un mensajero, diciendo: Ve y lávate siete veces en el Jordán, y tu carne se te restaurará, y serás limpio.
26 Como fue en los días de Noé, así también será en los días del Hijo del Hombre. 27 Comían, bebían, se casaban y se daban en casamiento, hasta el día en que entró Noé en el arca, y vino el diluvio y los destruyó a todos. 28 Asimismo como sucedió en los días de Lot; comían, bebían, compraban, vendían, plantaban, edificaban; 29 mas el día en que Lot salió de Sodoma, llovió del cielo fuego y azufre, y los destruyó a todos. 30 Así será el día en que el Hijo del Hombre se manifieste. 31 En aquel día, el que esté en la azotea, y sus bienes en casa, no descienda a tomarlos; y el que en el campo, asimismo no vuelva atrás. 32 Acordaos de la mujer de Lot.
