Annual Tailgate Party and Chili Cook-Off
Sunday, October 26, following morning service (new information in blue)
This year’s event will take place in the parking lot between the building and the soccer field. Rather than bringing food for just your family / group, we are organizing a group lunch. If you would like to participate, please commit to bringing food items (see sign up sheet at Connect Point). Note: Vegetable soup will also be available for those who can’t eat chili.
Dress: casual, church appropriate attire
Suggested items to bring and set up near your vehicle: chairs, fire pit, tent, etc.Chili Cook-Off: Have a favored chili recipe? Enter your best crock pot of chili in the cook-off. Registration can be found at Connect Point. Judges will determine winners in the following categories: Beef, Spicy, Creative.
Follow us on Dessert / Bake Sale: The Youth are coordinating a dessert / bake sale. All proceeds will go to toward their travel expenses for North American Youth Congress 2015.
If you, or someone in your family is not able to eat chili / or vegetable soup, please plan to bring an alternate lunch.
